Layouts and saved gauges

A layout is the whole working setup: which tab you were on, how many graphs, which channel is on which graph, your smoothing, your histogram tables, the math channels they use, the gauges behind them, and which gauges were showing, whether that was a built-in cluster or your own dashboard.

So switching layouts switches the gauges with them. A Holley layout brings back its Holley dashboard; a standard layout brings back the V8 cluster.

From the header's Layout menu:

• Save Layout updates the one you have loaded, silently.
• Save Layout As New… asks for a name and makes another.
• Save Custom Gauges saves just the dashboard and the graph channels on screen with it. Use a layout for a whole way of working, a gauge set for a cluster you want under several layouts.
• Delete this Layout and Delete these Custom Gauges remove the loaded one; the pickers also have a bin on every row.
• ⇩ Download HPL appears when the log came from your account, and downloads the original file.

Saving is free; syncing to your account is Pro. The picker button shows a * after the name when you have unsaved changes.

The top of each picker says where they live: Synced to <your email>, or This device only when you are not signed in or not Pro. Cloud layouts are re-pulled whenever you open the picker, so a layout saved on another machine shows up without a restart.

The layout you used last comes back automatically on the next log you open.
